2nd Annual FFML Art In Unexpected Places Contest
The “Art in Unexpected Places” poster contest is open to any child in a private or public school from elementary school age through to high school. There will be prizes awarded for each age group, and there is no fee to register. Artwork will be exhibited in local participating First Friday storefronts on the Main Line starting November 7th, 2008. CLICK HERE to view the creative poster entries. MANNA, a non-profit organization that delivers nourishment to people with life-threatening illnesses, is selling pies for the 12th annual Pie in the Sky, presented by US Airways. With a goal to sell over 14,000 pies and raise $400,000, this year’s Pie in the Sky will be bigger and better than ever.

For only $25, you can provide a MANNA client with three nutritious meals and in return take home a delicious Apple, Pecan, Pumpkin, or Sweet Potato pie. For $35, you can select our new US Airways SkyPie, a little bit of gourmet heaven with a rich dark chocolate ganache atop a creamy cheese cake center, and be entered to win two $500 travel vouchers from US Airways.

Bring home a gourmet desert for Thanksgiving, show your employees you care, sweeten your client relationships… whatever your reason for purchasing pies, every helping helps! And helping never tasted so good!

Pies are on sale from October 1 to November 19. All pies will be distributed on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 – just in time for Thanksgiving!
