As a Horticulturalist and an Art Teacher, I look at nature from an artist’s perspective. I try to emphasize the elements and principles of design in the images I am capturing. I look for lines, shapes, forms, colors, values, textures, and patterns. I create a sense of balance and unity while emphasizing interesting patterns and quiet rhythms found in nature. |

I have always work with series with themes interconnected with each other, identity, relationships, literature...the following series are the most important ones in this journey. |

In painting, I found immediate joy, as there is no team of designers and project managers (only me), no deadlines, no meetings. A painting can take a couple of hours, or a few days or several months….a much shorter timeline than building projects. I delight in painting with bold color, combining shapes and lines to create depth, movement and presence. |
