Christopher Woods
Friday, March 05, 2010, 5pm to 8pm
Christopher Woods is a local artist who stays as close as he can to the foundations of drawing and painting. His subjects are mostly people and places. These foundations that are ingrained in him were learned while attending the Academy of Art College in San Francisco for a year and then three years spent at Art Center college of Design in Pasadena Ca., where he earned a BFA in illustration. What Chris is always looking for in a subject is someone who has their story written all over their face, subjects who want to tell you their story.

LOOKING INTO GLASS
Artist Gail S. Kotel exhibits at MilkBoy in Ardmore for the month of March. With Looking Into Glass" Gail S. Kotel is working on discarded found multi-paned windows to explore the relationship between subject and observer. This project grew out of Kotel's longtime printmaking efforts, in an attempt to utilize all the paint left on the glass after a print was drawn.  The work explores the duality of voyeurism, asking the viewer to look into themselves, reflecting on reflections
